Is Bento Bop Frozen safe to use once thawed?

 

Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality products. Therefore we do not recommend using any Bento Bop Frozen product once thawed.

 

I have a Bento Bop in my refrigerator or freezer and it is past the "Use By" date. Can I still use it?

 

Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality products. The " USE BY" date stamped on the side of the Bento Bop tray is put there as a guide for you. It tells you that the product's flavor and freshness are at their peak up to that date. We recommend the product be consumed before the " USED BY" date on the package.

However, due to fluctuations in sales and distribution we cannot guarantee those stores will have the product available on any specific day. If you don't see the product on grocery shelves, we recommend checking with the store manager to determine when the product will be available at that location.

How do I obtain allergen information about your products?

 

Please note our products are produced and labeled in compliance with the FDA.   When labeling products, we consider - and label for - all possible sources of the 8 major allergens recognized by the FDA.  These are eggs, fish, crustacean, shellfish, milk, peanuts, soy, tree nuts and wheat.  Bento Bop also labels for additional allergens or substances of interest including celery,  mustard, lupin, mollusks, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, poppyseeds, cottonseed, all sources of gluten, and sulfites in levels over 10 ppm.  If any of these substances are added to the product, they will be listed in the Ingredient Statement.
